Parent Involvement

Parent Involvement
The academic success of our students depends upon the active involvement of each and every family. When students see their parents involved, they believe in their own abilities, stay engaged in their education, develop a life-long joy of learning, and are more likely to finish a four-year college degree.

Parent support groups at Reed include:
PTSA:(Parent Teacher Student Association): many volunteer opportunities throughout the year
Smaller Learning Communities: parent committees and/or non-profit organizations for each program
Music Boosters: supporting the Music Department’s busy rehearsal and performance calendar
School Advisory Committees: School Site Council, Compensatory Education Advisory Council, and English Learners Advisory Council

Parent Center: parent education workshops and volunteer opportunities
